This project is the first of its kind in the state of Pennsylvania. It is a home built to NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines by senior high school trade students. It is designed to be 50% more energy efficient than a similar house built 5 years ago and is expected to achieve a gold rating – the highest in the NAHB Guidelines.

This non-profit has a mission of waste reduction, job skills training and poverty relief. The Waste Not Products are made from reclaimed materials in the YouthBuild workshop, a program that provides 18-24 year olds the opportunity to gain useful job skills while completing their high school diploma.
