About Franklin
Established in 1935, Franklin International is among the largest privately held manufacturers of adhesives and sealants in the U.S. The company employs approximately 450 at its headquarters, laboratory and plant, in Columbus, Ohio; and eight distribution centers in the U.S. In addition, Franklin strengthens local support to customers across the U.S. – and the world – through a network of over 75 independent sales representatives and direct field sales associates.
Franklin Divisions
Construction Division – Provides renowned Titebond® brand of adhesives, caulks and sealants sold through retail, distribution and OEM channels for construction, remodeling and repair applications. The division includes one of the industry’s broadest lines of green adhesives and sealants for the construction industry.
Polymer Division – Researches, develops and produces polymers for a wide range of products, including glues, adhesives, hot melts, binders, films, sizing compounds and more.
Industrial Division – Provides assembly glues, edge and face glues, laminating glues, veneering and finger jointing glues to the furniture, millwork and engineered-lamination markets.
International Division – Rapidly growing channel provides Franklin products for furniture manufacturing and mill working applications to customers in 35 countries on six continents.
Franklin was the first in the industry to develop a solvent-free construction adhesives line and the first to pass AFG-01 in 1989. The company also is launching a new line of solvent-free construction adhesives under the new GREENchoice™ brand. The core line includes seven powerful solvent-free adhesives and an eco-friendly polyurethane adhesive that, together, cover most applications on the job site.
In addition to GREENchoice, Franklin offers close to 60 different types of environmentally friendly solvent-free and VOC-compliant Titebond construction adhesives, flooring and specialty adhesives, wood glues, caulks and sealants, in multiple sizes for professional and DIY use.
