Franklin Launches Green Building Web Site in Conjunction with
New GREENchoice™ Construction Adhesives Program
www.TitebondGreenChoice.com strives to educate the construction industry in green building and provide useful information on Franklin’s complete offering of more than 65 types of green Titebond® adhesives, caulks and sealants – including GREENchoice construction adhesives.
As part of its commitment to helping the construction industry embrace green building, adhesives manufacturer Franklin International is launching a green building Web site, www.titebondgreenchoice.com, in conjunction with the introduction of its new GREENchoice brand of eco-friendly adhesives.
The new Web site positions green building as a choice, and plays up on that concept in three primary sections: “Our Choice” addresses Franklin’s 20-year history in and continued commitment to green adhesives. “Your Choice” educates contractors and DIYers in the merits of green building and provides information on green building organizational guidelines. And “GREENchoice” presents Franklin’s GREENchoice solvent-free construction adhesives and close to 60 additional eco-friendly, solvent-free, or VOC-compliant products – comprising what is far and away the industry’s broadest offering of green glues, adhesives, caulks and sealants.
Highlights of the Web site include an FAQ section, with 57 questions and answers on green building and green Titebond products; and a comprehensive glossary of green-building terms. One of the most interesting features of the site is an interactive house that enables the user to explore the range of applications for green Titebond products, including GREENchoice construction adhesives. As the user rolls his cursor over the house, names of green Titebond and
GREENchoice products for specific construction applications pop up. The user has the option of downloading data sheets on each product of interest.
Franklin also plans to add a “Communities” section, providing an online forum for builders, remodelers and DIYers to discuss aspects of green building via message boards and live chats.
“Franklin is the pioneer in green adhesives and long has been committed to providing eco-friendly alternatives for the construction industry,” said construction adhesives product manager Megan Metz. “Our new Web site takes that commitment two steps further, embracing our obligation not just to provide green products, but also to serve as a valuable resource on green building overall for the construction industry.”
To further support customers in the use of green products, Franklin also has established a dedicated, toll-free green help line. Customers can call 1-888-533-9043 for support in using all GREENchoice adhesives and green Titebond products.
