Uses

Light to moderate traffic areas for residential, commercial and institutional installations.
Carpets: Woven polypropylene, jute, latex, foam, rubber and soft unitary backings.
Tiles: Vinyl composition, asphalt and cork.
Resilient Sheet Goods: Mineral, felt, paper and rubber backings.

Substrates

Plywood, hardboard, association grade particleboard underlayments, felt lining, moisture and alkali free concrete and asphalt.

Subfloor Preparation

All substrates must be clean, dry, structurally sound, properly cured and free of dirt, oil, paint, old adhesive, wax, sealers and curing agents. Subfloor and materials are to be at least 65 °F., prior to and after installation. Concrete subfloors must be structurally sound and free of voids and cracks. Make repairs to concrete substrates to remove unsound or deteriorating areas. If needed, apply cementitious patch to any voids or cracks. Allow cementitious repair materials to cure per cementitious manufacturer’s recommendations. Lightweight concrete or gypsum-based subfloors/materials must have Titebond Concrete Primer (or equivalent) applied prior to use of adhesive. Follow directions of Titebond Concrete primer (or equivalent) before use.

Installation Recommendations

For carpets: Use a 3/32" V-notch trowel for smooth and 1/8" U-notch trowel for deep textured backings, or very porous substrates. Open time is between 15 and 60 minutes to promote adhesive transfer. Employ a lightweight roller within one hour of installation.
For tile: Use a 1/16" square notch trowel. Open time is between 30 minutes and two hours. Adhesive must transfer to tile backing to bond. Employ a 100 pound roller within one hour of installation.
Resilient Sheet Goods: Use a 1/16" square notch trowel. Open time is 10-45 minutes. Adhesive must transfer to backing in order to bond. Employ a linoleum roller immediately after installation.

Cleanup

Allow adhesive to dry well before exposing installations to cleaning water. Use water to remove adhesive spots and clean tools.
